Proverbs 13:5a [AMP] A [consistently] righteous man hates lying and deceit…
I was in college back then and I sat there speaking to a friend of mine pretending to be high classed. Never have I ever felt so phony in my life that it bothers me just thinking about those days when I applauded being two-faced and pretentious just to gain more friends.
There is a sense of relief for all those who have let go of pretending to be someone else and still get accepted by the people who loves them. I want you Daughter of the King of kings to breathe. Let go of being somebody else and take on who you really are in Christ and live your life – not the life of somebody else.
Being real is not being who the world dictates you to be but being who you are in God’s heart. Daughter of the King, be who you are meant to be in Christ – a daughter – an adoptive one who has been taken out of the path of death and abandonment and taken into the arms of a loving Father to live.
Ezekiel 16 :3… ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. 4 On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. 5 No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised. 6 “‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”
As adoptive daughters we get cleaned off, take on His Name, become His children that means we gain a Father, get a family, an inheritance in the Kingdom of light and a place to live for all eternity.
Let your lives be lived so that you may breathe easily and not live in constant fear of being found out. Let your whole being be a pleasing honest and sincere aroma to our Father who loves us with an unconditional, unfailing and constant love.
